Candidate: Al'Thor
Comments: I like the guy's posts. As a civitates one is expected to act with responsibility and a mature attitude. In debating you need to have self-restraint and control, respecting the ideas of others and following the rule of "attack the argument - not the person saying it." As a civitates the TOS aren't just guidelines to proper behavior - they are rules, laws that need to be followed. To lead by example and act in an appropriate manner even while those around you don't is what civitates do. In leading by example hopefully others will be inclined to work to become civitates and follow that example, making the forums more enjoyable and peaceful. A civitates is allowed to vote on laws and rules of the forum, a privelege that is the result of maturity and responsibility. My duty as a civitates is to act responsibly, to lead by example, and most importantly to spread some of the respect and consideration of others that is so lacking on the internet and in the world today. (Kinda sounds stuffy, but that's how I see it... romanticized or not.)
