    Many thanks.

Basically played the battle out 4 times, everytime i try to depopulate/take over the city, the game will crash to desktop

EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention, because im currently to fixated with my campaign, but in order to see the CTD bug which take place at the greek capital in greece. You have to press end turn, which you then will be attack by a small greek stack attempting to break the siege. After winning the battle and giving your three choices of what to do with your newly conquered settlement, the game will crash definitely with the 3rd option (depopulate) as for the 1st (occupy) & 2nd (enslave) options, i didn't click them to see if it wouldn't crash. but im guessing it wud have anyway.

So for now ive continued my campaign by pulling out of greece altogether and returning to face the gauls, but just thought ill point the bug out anyway

    Off topic to current subject
Earlier bug i got around, was during the turn process, everytime it got to a certain faction (Pergaman - think) the game would crash, which kept happening. I managed to get around the bug by using the "delete map.rwm" button in the laucher, which allowed the turn process to continue without a crash

Other then that, no other gameplay breaking bugs, will continue to list any bugs/ctd with saved games & explanations on how it occurs

    Cheers

Another Bug fount - small one, but causes crashes if you overlook it

upon loading a saved game as Rome, the settlement "Crotona" (south italy) will at first display the incorrect population growth of "0.5%", at "very high tax rate", if you set the tax down to "high" then back up to "very high", it will change to "2.0% growth" which it should have been in the first place. This as happened to me before pre - 2.1a patch, and if you don't check the settlement upon loading the saved game to address it before pressing end turn, it will cause your game to crash or start getting worst for bugs, like it starts to happen in other settlements too.

Loaded the saved game up, just to make sure it just anit me

Edit: Also appears that may be the end of my campaign now, if you load up that save game, and press end turn, the game will crash to desktop anyway for unknown reasons?

First, I see you're using autosave, which may cause the crash of your second post.

Your first crash is the reinforcement bug, a known RTW crash we can do nothing to stop. Just search it either here or in the workshop for more details.

thanks for the feedback, started another campaign, this time taken autosave off, and remembering to activate the script this time, but can't get my head around why it would CTD if i tried to depopulate a greek city on mainland greece, ill eventually work my way over there again, see if ita bug with the settlement or a one off thing

    thanks for your help

No, the bugs comes from the fact there was a reinforcing army.
The problem apparently comes from the fact that once defeated, the army from the town can't retreat, or something like that, and the game doesn't know what to do and thus crash.
We don't really know why it crash, just that it does in this situation.

What you need to do is either take the settlement before the reinforcing army comes, or kill the reinforcing army, and then take the town.

The same bug as popped up again, this time ive been making sure ive been activating the script? In the same settlement too??? Can't understand why this is happening, but it usually causes the game to go bad? not sure if its just me, but can't see what i may have done to cause it?

Edit: everytime you load the save game up, you have to reset that settlement tax/population, by flickin the taxes up and down, then it remains atable for the rest of the duration while playing until you reload the game again

I've never heard of your first bug.
What exe are you using so I can try the save?

Use fraps to take a screenshot; that's the easiest.
