    Default Anyone see Declassified on history channel about John Lennon?

    About Nixon's group and FBI waiting 29 yrs to release Doc's on how they wanted him deported because he might influence voting. Complete joke! In the scope of history its not really that long ago. It so reminds me of how Rome used place faux political figures in place against powerful family members for positions of goverment. This makes me feel like a plebian or peasant even more. How medieval can you get? This coming from an x staunch conservative who used to believe that goverment at its core is true, but have since grown to accept that those in power lie, cheat and manipulate the system. And all that work over freakin rock 'n roll, and hippie ideology. You know that stuff like this happens all the time, " lets pull the wool over the eye's of the sheep yet again." I dont want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but I'm disappointed.

    Wasn't aware, and I don't really care. I've never, ever looked up to John Lennon as being an inspurational and rational individual.... Beh, stuff the hippies anyway...

    Agreed. I just found it strange. One can speculate about how repressive the government is but when you see it in action. I know that was a long time ago, and that things are different. But one could debate that too, we just happen to know that they do it outright now. I never liked john lennon either.
