Yes i'm serious. The BI does not work with my BI cd, does not recognise it, and i'm not gonne buy a new one. Alex.exe i hate the battle systeme. That dammed stopping when you duobleclick a unit and then arrow key. I cannot use Alex.exe because i'm to used to the RTW1.5 battle systeme, when double clicking-arrowkey works so great.

About those extra's... i dont care for hroding nor shieldwall, and for Alex... Ai is better( i hate i cant use alex.exe cause i want that) 3 units militia sieges.. that is not true when you play with AI bonussus on.

Well, I must admit that at times I miss a bit the crazier RTW AI on battlefield: it engaged your line almost immediately, did not care about missiles, and, strangely enough, did at times more damage with this unpredictibility of its.
    Isn't it ironic

atraps: In the next version I'll set up the fatigue-off option so that it disables the movement rate changes as well.

Dime, there is no need to disable the movement rates if u disable fatigue as fatigue wont be a factor anymore

    these are the two options

disable fatigue and leave the movement rates the same
    or
disable the movement rates (as in changing them back to vanilla's) and leave fatigue on

Or give us a a third option:

Movement rates the same and fatigue on.

I have a question, possibly related to the fatigue issue.

With fatigue off, what would happen to the bonuses/penalties of fighting in cold/hot weather?
(e.g. bonus to barbarians for fighting in snow; penalty to heavy armoured units in desert)
Of course this question is valid provided those penalties/bonuses are applied through fatigue, of which I am not sure.

well with fatigue off, the fatigue (from the heat factor) the unit suffers in hot weather will no longer effect the unit

so this will beniefit heavily armoured units as they will no longer have heat penalties

the "combat bonus in snow", and "combat bonus in desert" will not be affected with fatigue off, as the bonus these provide is an attack bonus

    I see. Thanks, Atraps.

Sorry if the comment above was misleading. I meant that the options would be (1, default) fatigue off, slower movement, or (2) fatigue on, normal movement. I could make them separate options, but that means four combinations I have to test, instead of the current two.

Ah ok, this is very good indeed.

oh ok, yea those 2 options are fine, no need to get to detailed

Ah, but what about those who like fatigue and the current movement rates?

Part of the reason I like XGM so much is the battlefield speed, it's not as quick as vanilla, but not as slow as some mods like RTR. It's a very nice speed, the battles are fast paced without being breakneck speed.

If you do make those the options, I'll have to switch out the battlefield movement modifiers everytime; not that that would be a huge hassle, just copy over a file, but not everyone is as good at handling files as I am.

I'm not saying to do them as two different options, but it would be nice to have a "original" option also, fatigue and slower movement.

well if u install XGM with option 1(default) then all u have to do is turn fatigue on in the preferences txt (no need to copy files)

I suppose that would work too. Thanks, Atraps.
