Default Oh the A.I.! Must you torture me?

Okay....I considered subjecting you all to a long story, but I decided to keep it down to some simple questions and gripes.

    1. Okay, I must ask: do any of you guys have problems with factions that you were previously at peace with, especially for a long time, randomly attacking you for no other reason than because you happened to border them on land? This has happened to me so many times, it has really got me fed up. What irritates me more is the fact that many of these factions are VASTLY inferior in EVERY way to mine, or at war with other factions. Thrace and Carthage, in my current game, are perfect examples: Thrace randomly attacked me while I'm at war with Macedon...yet they only have 6 territories (now 5 >: D), and a military that makes me laugh myself to sleep. Carthage, on the other hand, is not only at war with the Egyptians, but they're LOSING. And they attacke me just 'cause an Iberian town (that I was besieging) turned coat and rejoined Carthage, and therefore was bordering me.

    2. Relating to #1, I want to know: are certain/all factions programed with A.I. that tells them to conquer certain areas or territories regardless of the faction there? Seriously, I cannot find any other reason why Carthage might want war with me, or why the Seleucids in my first game of RTR attacked me after I conquered Egypt's Middle Eastern territories.

    3. Just to say it again, I absolutely hate the diplomacy system in RTW/RTR. I have factions at their KNEES, down to two territories with barely any army to defend themselves against my 4 legions, and they demand ALL of their territory back and tons of gold in exchange for a ceasefire...what, they got some hidden army that will overrun all of mine?! (I just wanted to say that)

    4. As I mentioned in #1, does anyone know why the factions were set so that they don't consider the following when going to war: 1. The enemy is far more powerful than themselves; 2. The enemy has the resources to (even if they're losing money) raise whole armies very quickly; 3. That they are already at war, possibly losing or in a pointless stalemate.

    5. The most surprising thing about RTR is that the Germans have been pretty quite. Unlike the Iberians, after they attacked me and I totally destroyed they're armies, they not only accepted a peace treaty, but they've actually kept to it! There's been no war along the Germanic front for almost 20-30 years....as opposed to nearly every other border I have >_>

    That's all folks, I'm tired!

Why is it that at least one of the Romans are wusses?

Yes... and its all hardcoded so the RTR team can't do anything about how the AI behaves. But since RTR7 is supposed to be for BI, the AI should be slightly better.
