Random slowdowns
Romani campaign around 235bc, I'm getting some weird fps drops. I'll be getting 40+fps then all of a sudden it drops to below 20fps. If I end turn it goes back up, it's weird cause it does it at random times. Doesn't really bother me but would like to know why? Thanks for the help

Re: Random slowdowns
Try to disable campaign shadows in the options if the lag is on the campaign map, getting 2-3GB RAM helps here too.
If it lags on battle map reduce details and disable AA, upgrade your graphics driver.
Sometimes a defragmentation of the RTW folder brings some speed bonus too.

I've also seen what you are talking about, but it happened when i moved a unit and it could move anymore. Try to move another unit just a little, it may help iirc

Re: Random slowdowns
I forgot to mention that it only lags on the campaign map. I have 8GB of RAM, plus another 2GB of dedicated video card RAM. I did some testing and 80% of the time it lags after I move a full stack/2-3 half stacks or click on a settlement and build something.
