    Default Construction price castle

    Hello,

    I would greatly increase the cost of construction of the fortress and citadel.

    I change the price in export-descr-building:

    stone material
    building 20
    cost 200000
    settlement_min city
    upgrades

    But in the games when I want lconstuire the citadel. the amount is 34565.

    Do you know why?
    Is it the fact that I load a game?
    Should we start a new party for this change?.

    I would even know about the campaign early.
    The unit is not the same as if we play in late campaign. Normal IS!

    But I wonder if during the campaign early, we go automatically into a late campaign with new units. (eg at the end of 450 rounds of games)?

    I believe the cost is hardcoded to 34.565 florins, so you can't put higher cost than this one.

    No, i have change the price for castel at 50000 and fortress at 150000 and citadel at 300000. in game the castel cost 50000, that's good but the fortress at 15000 and citadel at 9000.
    I don't understand...

    Make sure that those costs are only for you, otherwise you will cripple the AI.

    why i cripple the AI ?

    I want to raise prices for the castles do not get all the citadels. Only the rich nations that can afford them. The other countries have less can be just a castle and fortress.

    and I think that if I increase the price for everyone (including AI) there shall have this.

    Can you give me more details on your previous answer?

    and why prices change during the games (fortress costs 50,000 in the game it will be a 9000)?

    AI is always in a lack of money. They wouldn't built anything then.
    I'd prefer for AI not to pay for construction at all, if it's possible.

    Have a look at the Carl script by Fred Putz. It makes all buildings cost the AI only 1 florin each and decreases the money bonus it receives. It also pays the AI's army upkeep costs but if that happens then the script reduces the AI's treasury to 50, which is enough to improve its cities but not enough to recruit new units.

    but do you have an idea to limit the construction (for me and AI) as a fortress and citadel.

    I regret (unrealistic) that all nations can transform all these castles in the citadel after a while. I really want to build a citadel is not really a choice as to build a farm. A citadel is a really hard fall. Therefore gives an advantage over an area of conquest or defense.


    Maybe you have a solution?

    You may increase squalor, but you'd better to ask more expirienced users how to make it properly.
    Or you can change population levels in the file descr_settlement_mechanics.xml in SS6.3\data\

    Because it isn't made very well and it can't plan ahead.
