and i did some research, and it IS. hahahah

THIS IS WHAT CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS ACTUALLY BELIEVE
and i did some research, and it IS. hahahah

yes this is what scientology is

Not all of it, but yes - they believe this. It is for that reason that I'm going to rename this thread to have a more neutral title and move it to the Ethos forum.

Why? Because THIS IS WHAT SOME SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE

Sounds like a very entertaining religion, except for the bit where you have to pay...

I wish I could have invented Scientology.
Sure, i would have to accept false ideas for awhile, but it would be worth it.
I mean, look at how much money people are spending!

Ok.. lets keep this a topic about Scientology, not necessarily making fun of it, but an actual serious discussion.

I like this bit in the Wiki - Hubbard made his discoveries about Xenu in 1967/

A Marvel Comics villain called Xemnu the Titan featured in Journey into Mystery #62 (Nov, 1960) and #66 (Mar, 1961) as a prototype of The Hulk; Marvel widely reprinted these stories in early 1967 [13] [14]. The Xemnu tale features similar themes to Hubbard's Xenu story: an alien warlord, escape from prison, mass death, telepathy and mental possession of other bodies [15] [16]. A different Marvel villain called Zemu or Xemu appeared in Strange Tales #103 (Dec, 1962) [17] and Fantastic Four #158 (May, 1975) [18].

I wonder why some many got ****** when south park made "fun" of scientology when they werent actually making fun of it they were telling the truth. Probably because the leaders know how stupid the religion is and dont want anyone else to know.
I dont know how it is know, but before scientology before made new recruits take huge bank loans that they never could dream of paying back.

Tom Cruise is downright scary... I hate all these crazy sects.

What about religions? it's large scale sects.

edit: South park forgot to mention the hydrogen bombs that the evil lord xenu detonated in the volcanos of hawaii.

So scientologists got mad because south park made it seem less stupid. That makes as much sense as their religion

L Ron Hubbard is alleged to have said almost exactly that on a number of occasions...

"Around this time he was invited to address a science fiction group in Newark hosted by the writer, Sam Moskowitz. `Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous,' he told the meeting. `If a man really wanted to make a million dollars, the best way to do it would be start his own religion.'
