On a related note, a recent study entitled "Evolution, Creationism, and the Battle to Control America's Classrooms" from Penn State University about biology classes in US High Schools found that 13 percent of biology teachers "explicitly advocate creationism or intelligent design by spending at least one hour of class time presenting it in a positive light." Around 60% wanted to avoid controversy and didn't advocate one or the other.
That is a serious problem, and many of the girls in the video are examples of that. "Teach everything and let the kids decide, we're smarter than ever" and yada yada yada. Seriously, nevermind the fact that 13% of the biology teachers teach against 40 years of court rulings, but the 60% are a bigger concern imo, because they equate the two, the scientific theory and it's nonscientific alternatives, and give the impression they're both perfectly reasonable.

The first clip is funny.
The second clip is surprising.
... wut? Do they not realize that it is taught in public schools? Evolution, that is.
Yes.
No...
MAYBE!

Let's not forget the politicians who invest points in charisma over intelligence.
If the 14% statistic is true, that's disgusting. It's not like there are no other groups that you can visit on a weekly basis that teach that rubbish. Keep science classes scientific.
In case people didn't realize: The 2 minute video is a parody of the 14 minute debate on Evolution. The 2 minute one was a joke, they were not seriously questioning the validity of math; the creators wanted to show the logical incoherencies made in arguments against Evolution.
I am surprised at how many people in the real one actually did say that it should be taught (though 90% of these people said "...alongside creationism, and I don't personally believe in evolution.") I love the person who said "Because there are plenty of examples of evolution...like...with communities evolving and people becoming involved with their communities, which grow and evolve." Only one person (Miss Vermont) seemed to know what Evolution even was.
The more i read stuff like this (cant watch the video's atm) the more im glad i somehow managed to go to a great school.
Ha I thought this was going to be a real debate about the need for more flexibility in national curriculums and what should be taught beyond basic skills in literacy, numeracy and articulation.
Fooled I tell y'all! Fooled.
how is it that these women possess physical traits that increase their chances of passing on their genes to the next generation, when they are obviously genes coding for stupidity and dumbarsery as well?
