Stuck when I click on a set of units

I won a battle at sea and now my game sticks whenever I click on the two sets of ships. I went down to Directx9, cleaned out saved games, and lowered the graphics settings. It helped make the game run smoother but I'm still freezing when touching these units.

i think there is a bug where 2 stacked units of ships get stuck together. Try and move a new ship into the area and put it in one of the stacks and then move that stack away.
