Bah, just checked Paradox's cite and I guess the release date for this got pushed back to the end of October? I never played SotS I, but I've always liked 4x games, especially in space. Looking forward to giving this a try.

I have Sots since the very first version... I absolutely love the game. Years of playing and i feel like i haven't tried half the combinations i would like to try!! Wonderful replay value! Hope they don't screw up Sots 2

I pretty much can't stand the wait. I know I should wait for some reviews to come out, and then to filter them through my own (absurdly extensive and unhealthy) experience with the first SoTS but...ugh.

...unless you want a preorder package from a different website. ordering off of steam = hivers and tarkas pack (looks like a skin, icon, avatar pack). A whole bunch of other places have liir/morrigi stuff.

howeveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer I was referring to an old survey they did,not so old maybe,didn't know that it was monthly-based
