Do vassals, including the ones released after cities have been captured, remain loyal after the Shogunate turns on you?

Some do but unfriendly forced ones usually don't. They will all betray you once your shogun though.

I've had all m vassals betray me, even the ones i made after realm divide. so i don't do it anymore.
I don't get vassals until after I hit legendary fame and I'm Shogun. Then if you let the clan reemerge as your vassal your diplomatic relations will be slightly positive if you have high daimyo honour. You get +100 for alliance but -100 for past grievances, not sure where they got the past grievances from since I never attacked that clan previously. I still don't trust them completely so if I have the Koku I'll gift them just to cement our relations a little better. They also get the expansion penalty so if you're expanding quickly they still might turn.
I agree no more vassals for me. In my last game I vassalized Asai and instead of every clan declaring war on me every clan declared war on Asai. Vassals are more of a pain then their worth.I've had all my vassals betray me, even the ones i made after realm divide. so i don't do it anymore.

I make vassals in poor territories. It's nice to have territories surrounded that you can reconquer during the realm divide to maintain some trade revenue.
