When I thought someone running around the map with their general to avoid a loss was bad, things just got worse. Here's a level one who has every skill a general can have. Interesting how CA let's people get away with stuff like this. At least in World of Warcraft, they ban cheaters. Just my luck. I bet he's Russian.

And before someone says why didn't I just alt f4 to avoid the loss, well, I just had to see it with my own eyes. To know that it wasn't some Shogun 2 description error, but that this guy was for real. haha, oh well.

Anyway, you might want to send a report to Steam. They can ban this guy from using steam if decent evidence is provided, meaning he loses this game and every other. They are more proactive about banning cheaters than CA.

Yeah I reported him to steam with the two above links for evidence. Don't think they'd need anymore evidence, I do have a replay if they want that but oh well.

I would be surprised if Steam did anything, they barely ban hackers in their flagship games TF2, CSS. If you get something from Steam out of this, I would be shocked, especially for a game they likely know nothing about.

I think you did the best thing you could and that was let us know, yet again, MP is borked. You can play "for fun", but if you find fun in a competitive and "fair" MP experience through the mechanism provided by CA, then you will continuously be disappointed. CA has shown that they cant polish their games.

Are you assuming he is Russian based on the fact that he cheated? If so then you have quite a prejudice.

You should enable extra unit card info to see if the general really is legendary everything. Sometimes when I view the generals info pre-game it doesnt accuratly show his rank, so I wouldn't be surprised if his traits are wrong. If you enable extra unit info in the options you can hover over his general and see all his stats and abilities.
