Question about .rar

I recently downloaded a small mod and unlike all other previous files I have dowloaded (either a zip or a .exe) its file extension was .rar. My question: How do I extract these files to my Rome directory?

if you dont have it dl winrar i think its free then double click on the .rar file, win rar should open automaticly
its better to extract mods to a new folder somewhere else on your system then follow the instrutions(read me) that come with most mods, :wink:

And here I am thinking I have a converter/extractor for just about everything (DDS, .pak, .idx ...). Guess I was wrong. Thanks

you might also wish to use a mod switcher they can save alot of hair tugging, i use this one which is fairly simple
