1150vs5700 bomb throwers are decisive

I never really into fire bomb throwers, but playing Hojo I thought I just given it a try. frankly I was stoned by their power. Castle defense 1v5 stacks, I got 4 naginatas and rest all peasants. A sure lost, if without bomb throwers. Surprised they are so deadly in castle defense, of course have to line them up on the wall with archers at side, so AI will concentrate their arrows on my archers, the bomb throwers got left alone. Most my bomb throwers casualty were not caused by the enemy, sometime they just blow themselves up. LOL. That's why I love this game so much, it never cease to surprise me with so many strategy possibilities.

6 fire bombers in a siege and you didn't expect to win
Morale damage is probably better than matchlocks from a volley of those bombs(it is in naval), so if they aren't shot to pieces before getting into range to throw they always cause massive upets. That and that tech that boosts their accuracy puts it through the roof(up to 70 IIRC for non-hojo FB's), so they never miss, and it's an AOE attack. How did you not realise these guys would change the way you play.

Maybe I'm a little biased having used naffatun(fire bombers) and greek firethrowers(flamethrowers) in M2TW, they were game changers there as well

They are good on the field also, just use an ashigaru to pin and run around the flank to give them clear line of sight...goodbye samurai(and atleast the front rank of your own guys if you haven't got the first siege/gunpowder tech)

Dude, you must be careful with your spelling. There are people here that'll have a field day with you otherwise.

Regarding your post, it seems they really pack a lot of fire-power. Still, not fond of them.
