Default little problem regarding the campaign map AI

    hey there,

again and first of all: thanks again for RSII. iam playing this mod for 2 weeks in a row now after i shot down TW games completely like over a year ago but this mod got me alll over again! *THUMBS UP*!

I've played a bunch of campaigns for now ( all on VH/VH with 1-turn recruitment since i do not enjoy the turn-0 stack spamming until the AI kills all of their cities =/ ) but never made it to the very end because at some point the campaigns just arent that struggeling anymore ( not your fault though, e.g. having pergamon controlling everything eastwards to the agaeis ,egypt and sarmatia) .

Lately, i have started playing with the Romans for the first time and i've noticed that this is of course, the best campaign so far! congratz to this! After over 100 turns iam now finally able to destroy the last carthagian family member but it was a devastating war for the north african provinces. the best part about the romans is, that there is so many enemies and so many fronts to fight aat/ getting attacked at! i nearly p*ssed myself the first time sparta broke its alliance with me in the same turn as the greeks and the macedons to attack me alltogether.

By now, the Marian Reforms finally have triggered and i do have a very huge legionaire army at tarentum. And here my problem shows up: It seems like the AI is following specific "missions" for somehow, like a script telling them " you will have to conquer this specific region or you cant go anywhere else".

How comes i think so? Well, the macedons and the spartans are at war with each other, same for the GCS and the ptolemaeic. Every say 3rd or 4th turn im getting attacked by spartans and macedons at tarentum, and GCS and ptolemaeic at lepcis magna. i built up huge stone walls there and send my best armies ( except the ones to conquer ibera and gallia for now) , so they dont get a goal.
suprisingly the AI, though they are at war and share borders with each other, dont attack themselves but send every army they have to attack me ( which also means the ptolemaeic e.g. are not getting attacked by the seleucid which still have peace with armenia and parthia) .
furthermore sparta and macedon for example are sending their troops over the landscape @salone and segestica together, which sitll is barbarians land, without fighting each other. they dont even care about me, leaving patavium without any troops inside.

i was about to let them conquer tarentum to see what is going to happen next, but i havent done so for now. of course ima true roman and by the blood of our great soldiers, i will definately conquer all the greek provinces and everything in the known world, but for now, im pretty secure for my eastern borders ( also killing up to four family members of the factions mentioned above each turn =) ).

settings are : VH / VH , post marian-roman general, low textures, huge troop scale
