All of my saves corrupted

The title pretty much sums it up. The problem is that I had three different saves of my current campaign, each made on different turns. And now it seems that all three of them are corrupted (I get the "Medieval has encountered an unspecified error").

Now, I have recently reinstalled Med2TW, and though I noticed HUGE performance improvements, the fact that I lost three save games of the same campaign is VERY detterant. The campaing in question was still relatively new (it was turn 20 or so), but the idea of playing a campaign for a long time, and then losing all the save games if freaking me out.

Now, before I post my specs etc., I would just like to know:
Did any of you ever lost all of your save games?
If so, did you somehow managed to fix this?

i have played medieval2 since it came out, uncountable saved games, in vanilla, in many seperate mods as well.

i have never had this issue. Only exception is when you change mods, then the save game may not be compatible. For example, switching from SS 6.1 to 6.4, may cause compatability issues

it has never happened to me for a saved game to become corrupted in MED 2

Did you loose power or have your PC crash, while trying to save?

Nope, I saved everything normally. Also, I didn`t make any changes to my game files in the meantime. I`ll post my system log a bit later.

I gave up on fixing this (partially because I made some changes to my campaign setup in the meantime). Hopefully it won`t happen again. If it does... well, I`ll post some more replies here.
