I can't get rid of a stupid trojan

I made the stupid mistake of leaving my computer without antivirus software for a month, my old avast expired and I just installed Bullguard. Whenever I open a web browser my home page is set to http://redirecturls.info. I cannot change this, every time I restart either of my browsers (IE and FF) it's set back to that.

It didn't affect firefox until today, but for the last few days every time I've started the computer IE has automatically opened at that page, even if I'm not connected to the internet.

How can I remove this? I spent 3 hours having bullguard scan my whole computer and it found some files it said were infected, but getting rid of them hasn't changed this.

When I've had stuff like this, using System Restore while in Safe Mode has dealt with it.

Probably a really stupid question but have you changed your homepage. I only ask because a similar thing happened to me a few years back. It done my head in for two days till i thought of it and it worked.
May be nothing like whats going on here but you never know.

Run malwarebytes, usually gets rid of this sort of thing much more effectively than antiviruses.
