    Default Roman economy

This probably has been adressed somewhere but i wasn't able to find it : while playing as Rome i encountered this a couple of times and i wanted to ask if it is supposed to be that way - i'm always playing with the script turned on ,but sometimes in the end of the turn i have about 130-150 k gold and when i end the turn i have 2k-5k gold .So i know you are not meant to have more than about 200k gold ,but having to build structures or armies when i have 5k gold is a kind of ....not really cool

I'm fairly certain that's not the script's doing. You checked your faction leader hasn't got the Economic Depression trait?

Check your balance. Most likely, your corruption runs rampant. That what happens when you end your turn with huge amount of cash. Sitting on a pile of money makes your governor lax and more corrupt. It is important to ensure that you always keep taxes at High (never Very High), waste every money at the end of turn (usually keep it under 1K) and always ensure that corruption in cities is minimal or absent. In that regard, any building that provides law bonus (temples of Minerva, Mars, guard posts or academies) are built. In my current campaign 1 turn with Rome, I make about 90K per turn and I still waste them every turn. I have almost no corrupt governors (except for a few dishonest ones) and I'm nearing the second rebellion phase.
