    Default faction heirs

how can you change your faction heirs? mine is like a douche (seriously!)
    he got like 0 command
    2 dread
    1 loyalty
    0 piety

and he got like horrible traits too (+ unrest, - taxation income, etc etc...)

so i want to ask you HOW can i change my faction heir because i want do it before he becomes the faction leader........ and he might bring chaos to my campaign.......
war is peace, ignorance is strength, freedom is slavery......

If you are playing vanilla then the only way to change a heir is to send the existing one headlong solo into the nearest enemy stack. If your heir is too far from the front lines, load him into a Cog and go looking for pirate ships.

no, so many people have asked this and I'm sure someone posted a while ago in a similar thread a link to a mini-mod that lets you choose your heir

it's just a mini-mod that lets you choose a faction heir, no other changes, it's still vanilla

send him on crusade or get him fighting lots, help him build up his traits

Yeah, if he's not too old you could get him fighting a bunch to increase his traits. If you can't be bothered to do so, just do what everyone up there suggested and send him up creek without a paddle!

Pair him with a decent general and put the 2 to work. Run a crusade, crush a faction, gain glory and talent.

I wish it was like in Rome Total War where you could change the faction heir... Ive had this really talented younger son who has 6 command, 6 piety, 8 loyalty and the heir had NO loyalty, NO command, and the trait Disloyal. Ive tried making him happy by sending him to battle but he feels underappreciated after 5 turns >_>

Send him off on a mercenary ship and find an opposing fleet.

This may be nonsense but can't you select an heir in the family tree scroll thereby making him heir apparent - you can tell when you've done this by a gold selection box around the pic of the character ?

    Maybe I got it wrong?
