    Icon10 Newbie to TWs here!

Greetings and salutations, ladies and gentlemen!
A guy in his twenties here.

I'm a new player to the Total War games and newer to the community obviously.
    I have some questions...

I'd like to know the status of ETW (+MP Beta) and S2TW (+AvaConquest) for multiplayer games.

You know, it would be nicer if they had slots for more than 2 players in campaing map (co-op or not) and unlimited campaing time. Any news from the creators?

Guess what would make ETW so great as well? Avatar Conquest feature!

Is there a way to practice battles without affecting my avatar's statistics in S2TW?

About Avatar Conquest... i think, i'll miss the campaing map, it's much better to conquer provinces that way than just move a plug on the map and into the battle right away. Avatar Campaing anyone?

Lastly, any advices for a newbie?

First, I'd like to welcome you to the wonderful community of TW gamers. May you enjoy the games as much as we do

ETW is a pretty stable game now, after all the patches. Unfortunately, there won't be any new ones, so your avatar suggestion is impossible. Also, the MP campaign in ETW aren't in the game, if I remember right they were only there as a beta during some months or so...

They are working on +2 players in MP campaign, and we will probably see it in the next game.

I think they were called "Battle List", in the right of "Match made-battles". These battles don't affect your avatar (they work in the same way as the MP battles from ETW).

Well, here are some advices, too, for a good start:

Never attack with cavalry without infantry or artillery support
Don't camp or spam riflemen/artillery/light dragoons in MP battles, it's against all codes of ethics, chivalry, fair-play or whatever you'd like to call it.
Try Great Britain in SP in ETW as the first campaign. You'll learn a lot, because they're very easy and cover all the aspects of the game. Also, in TWS2 play the Chosokabe.
