    Default Tyrants

The question is; "With the "power" you've been granted in MTW2 SS 6.4, are you a benevolent leader or do you lean toward the malevolent side?"

I, myself, tend to delegate authority appropriately and never exterminate populace(sack at worst) and try and keep taxes as low as possible.

depends on the game...i tend to roleplay with the traits my leader/king has already.

That's a smart play. You can, however, change the traits of your leader through actions. Keeping taxes low in a settlement for (I'm guessing) 10 turns will dramatically change the traits of the occupying governor.

I'm ALWAYS ruthless in my campaigns. Who cares about reputation? Diplomacy will always be broken in total war games!

I'm often chivalrious in all my actions just to get reputation. I play Savage AI and hard difficulty so diplomacy isn't broken. I just hate to fight everyone every turn. It's just not fun for me. I like to plan strategies and try out new stuff than hack down endless stacks on every border.

Depends on the type of Emperor for me.

For instance, I had Erasmus the Wrathful as emperor and exterminated armies but occupied towns and what not.

When his son, Cuntz the Merciless took over, he was well... merciless. He later went on to become Cuntz the Conqueror, Cuntz the Malevolent after he went senile and died as Cuntz the Mean.

Now I have Werener. We'll see how he develops though I see him trying to repair the diplomatic damage done by Cuntz.
