Movies that urge you to play some total war tittle??

What the tittle says on a tin. It seem something common at least among our fellow forumer's, that there seems to be movies that urge you to play some total war tittle, even when said installment have years on the shelve (digital or physical). Maybe it's a conspiracy between Hollywood and the gaming industry, but what the heck, I do enjoy both games and movies!!!

So here are mines (I know they are pretty stereotypic, but meh..):

Gladiator: Rome Total War to some extent.
Master and Commander/ The patriot: Empire Total War for naval/land battles, a lot.
Crusade (kingdom of heaven, the one with Orlando Bloom): Medieval 2 total war, A LOT MORE.
The last samurai: Let's kick Tom Cruise and crush all those Scientology's loonies Total War... Herr.. I mean, Shogun 2 total war. More or less..

King Arthur/Gladiator/300 = Rome
Kingdom of Heaven/Robin Hood/The 13th Warrior = Medieval 2
Patriot = ETW
ETW = NTW
Last Samurai = Shogun 2

Russell crowe is in every era.

Gladiator = Rome Total War

Robin Hood = Medieval 2 total war

Master and Commander = Empire and Napoleon Total war

Future Movie? = Shogun 2 Total War

I watched the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven a few days ago, just for the main siege battle. The whole film was much better than the theatrical release.

I also watched Gladiator just after I decided to get RTW a couple of months ago, and Braveheart as I was gearing up to start M2TW.

Was not much influenced by any movies. And the greatest factor were mostly documentaries.

But to some parts maybe Cleopatra, Gladiator and Alexander for Rome:TW
Fanfan la Tulipe and The Sovereign´s Servant for Empire:TW
War and Peace plus the Napoleon-mini series (with Christian Clavier) for Napoleon:TW

For Shogun and Medieval I cannot remember any movie urging me to play them.

Same here. Although I must admit that at some points during the battle at Gaugamela scene I do get excited. The end battle in India is just so full of historical faults that I just can't watch.
