CTD error

After installing the 6.3 version of Stainless Steel, it automatically opened up. The game was fine and worked normally but after installing the 6.4 patch and trying to open it up, it closes almost immediately. I tried reinstalling twice but it won't work.

The last line of 'system.log' says '18:44:15.239 [system.io] [info] exists: missing mods/SS6.3/preferences/player.txt'

did you run as adminstrator and run the ss_setup?

I ran it with the user settings at fullcontrol and modify.

edit-Oh, i just realised what you meant. Thanks for the help, i thought i only needed to run the 6.3 and 6.4 installation as administrator. Thanks again.
