I’m in the middle of my British campaign but I can’t recruit king’s German legion foot anywhere. I have a general’s staff in London and several military academies’ and lot of the one after barracks. They should be recruitable, it’s says you can only have 4 of them.

Hi there.
To my knowledge they are only available in the Peninsular Campaign. Sorry. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the "Capture Hannover" thing never worked for me in GC.

You have 1 in the beginning of the campaign but i dont know after that ive never come across them.

KGL Foot recruitment was in fact possible for me through Military Port Complexes, which as I was given to understand existed only in the Peninsular campaign, yet by some fortunate glitch showed up on my British grand campaign.

You need a mod to recruit them in the normal campaign.

That's pretty retarded.
Oh you can recruit up to 4 of them, but here's the only regiment you'll ever have for the entire game.
Unless you play the peninsular campaign, then you can recruit them.

I've actually heard stories of getting them through liberation, but it's rare.

I always took it as if they should become available when you had conquered Hannover, but I was wrong there
it seems the Peninsular Campaign is the only way to obtain them. Unless you use a mod.
