Default When to deal with Rome

With Carthage, Gaul, Brittania, Germania, and the Iberian Peninsula completely destroyed and I have finally reached the marius reforms, my sights now set on Rome.

With a campaign barely begun in Greece, is now a good time to invade Rome? Would it be best to wait untill every other enemy is taken care of before focusing all my forces on the Senate? What are the Pros and Cons for taking Rome at this point?

The game will let you know when Senate forces you to suicide your leader. Thats the right time to attack.
Note that single Marian legion cannot really take out Senate legion at all. I recall that I used about 15 legions to crush them and still with awesome awesome losses on my side. Can post you a picture.

Wow 15 legions!? I only have 8 legions and thats hard enough to keep track of. With about 7 auxillia legions also.

Also what do you mean the game will let you know when the Senate forces you to suicide my leader? Ive had a few messages (more than once) that said the people of Rome want me to take over or something like that.

When you get to strong there will be a mission telling you to assassinate your leader you either accept and they keep on asking it or don't and they declare war on you.
