I remember having some good siege battles against the AI in 1.3 when they had units including rams and siege towers (for the scripted sieges).
Now the scripted armies that I encountered only use siege weapons (like cannons) in 1.4.4, which makes them far less dangerous and even boring sometimes.
While siege units are not the 100% solution for good siege fights, it certainly helped.
So are there any main reasons why they have been removed from the campaign (not from the game, I know)?
