Pikemen Corpse Attacking Units

So this is kind of an unusual problem, but after I kill pikemen (phalangites) and I run a unit of troops over their dead bodies, a few of them get stuck on one of the corpses with the crossed swords on the unit icon, indicating that they are "fighting".

They don't die, but it's supremely annoying, especially when my own pikemen start dying, and their vengeful corpses disrupt my formation and keep the survivors from forming a phalanx.

I feel like this is a "bug," but if it's not in the appropriate forum, then I apologize in advance.

This is no EB bug, but rather a glitch from Vanilla RTW.
Can't give you a solution, the only workaround would be to navigate around them (yet, in most times not possible in a battle).
