No Sound

Hi
I for some reason lost my sound. Yes it works on everything else. I reinstalled Napoleon thinking that would fix it but didn't Please Help

I have a similar issue where occasionally my sound goes all weird. It's not gone completely, it just sounds kind of weird ... strangely metallic in a way. When it happens, plugging in my USB headset and then unplugging it after a couple of seconds always fixes the problem.

Moved to Technical Help.

Delete the scripts folder, verify game cache integrity, then try it.

How do you "verify game cache integrity?" by that do you mean just look in the fx_cache, or ui_cache and see if anything is in there?

I've been having this problem too. I verified my cache and I have no user.script file. And when I try to end the turn, the game CTDs while the other factions take their turns.

Delete the full scripts folder and let the game rebuild it.

Where would that folder be located?

Okay, and by "letting the game rebuild it", does that mean verifying the game cache?

I would verify the game cache just in case it missed something. The next campaign you start, the preferences script gets rebuilt and hopefully sound with it.
