Attacking people you don't agree with using glitter. Very mature and constructive. Is this what the left has been reduced to these days? I don't agree with these bigots either, but this is just silly.

    Really?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FARC

They're pretty liberal from what I can tell seeing as they fight Marxism-Leninism. At least I'm pretty confident communism could be considered liberal.

(I picked FARC because it was the first group I could think of).

Communism in the theoretical sense could be considered leftist, liberal no. In practice though Communism was anything but liberal/leftist. It was strictly authoritarian state worship.

Usually anti gay rights people are not just sharing an opinion but putting that opinion into law or school books. So any anti gay person on a school board might vote for history books with less emphasis on gay rights. And anyone voted into a legislature might not vote on gay rights bills. So freedom of speech is one thing but no one has the right to deny someone else their constitutional rights.

By liberal I meant America's centre-left. Actually I don't even consider them liberals, but whatever. It was a joke by the way, thank god we don't have that stuff anymore

I'm not defending the idea that homosexuals should not enjoy the same rights, but anti-gay rights people have the same right to state their opinion as everybody else, no matter how retarded other people find it.

Why is this an issue at all? Just some people throwing glitter on some other people. Doesn't bother me.

I wonder if future historians will look back and wonder how we could have been so foolish, as to believe, that humanity could be divided into left - right.

Yes, the left is usually socialist and wants to have more regulations on economy to limit exploitation of socio economically weaker people.

Liberals are all about free markets and no gouverment interference in economic matters.

All the left vs right whining and politicians not actually knowing what term goes with wich political affiliation have begun confusing many people it seems

Oddly enough not all of us Lefties spend our weekends throwing glitter at people. Those glitter throwers are most likely a bunch of Vegan, tree loving hippies.
