Default Texas has taken another step over to Crazyville

    Cuckoo

During my time in College Station, I've come across many peculiar characters. Bitter neo-Confederates who are still fighting the Civil War, girls who married when they were 18 and then were divorced with a kid by their 19th birthday, and now clowns like the governor who use their official capacity to sponsor a huge prayer event. What makes this particularly unsettling is his association with a hate group. Freakin' Bible Belt...

Well, apparently Rick Perry may turn into the Republican chosen one if you go by recent news...

If that loon becomes the Republican nominee then Obama will win in a landslide.

Implying that's not already going to happen.

Some of us are holding out for a Ron Paul Presidency.
And aren't even in the US.

Would have thought the previous attempts which ended in a quick exit would have diminished any hope. Though this is a pretty weak show the GOP is trotting out so who knows.

I can't say I've ever met a single person like that at A&M. Where do you find these people on campus?

Also, Rick Perry is a pretty blatant piece of , so you shouldn't be surprised by anything he does.

I find them in the unlikeliest of places. Anthropology graduate seminars, bars, and at random places around the Cushing Memorial Library. I guess I'm just lucky.

    LOL

Alex Jones with his pissed off texan voice. I used to listen to him a lot just because hes an angry Texas.

I will remember how he said "If you want to LIVE than you better listen to ME!" in that pissed off Texan voice, I still laugh at that .

If this person becomes president I may listen to Alex Jones again because that gloom and doom conspiracy would have to be true.

Was this sponsored by the government? Bear in mind that the governor is allowed to attend religious events and even promote them, so long as he does so in an unofficial capacity.

Bigoted? Nah, just observant. 90 percent of the people I've met in Texas have been decent folk, but that remaining ten percent is always a bit loopy. Hell, I saw huge billboards between College Station and Houston advertising for the supposed Rapture last month.

By the way, I'm San Diegan. And I'm so glad to be spending the summer here, away from Texas heat.

Texas is strange because there are plenty of sane people. And even the insane white people are incredibly nice. It really isnt the bible thumping state people think it is. Id say less than half can be considered bible belt.

But when they go full retard, they can hold their own against Florida.
