download link?

Could someone give me a link or links to download the current English version of CoW? I got confused by all the separate patches, links to different websites, translations, text, etc. (And very unfortuantly the torrent the holy pilgrim uploaded died recently…….

Thx guys! Man I just love this game. I installed CoW before using HP’s link and I love the game……..just blame myself I should have seeded longer so I have a back up plan. Thx guys, +rep

I still have one problem. So I downloaded the five parts and extracted the first part into a random folder I created, and then I pasted that folder into my mods directory and when I run the setup file as administrator I have no idea where to install it into. Do i install it into my mod folder? Well after a few seconds into the download it says error cannot create file something. Here are a few screenshots.

1.) Delete any CoW installation files you had previously extracted.
2.) Extract the 5 parts into one folder (Preferably one on the desktop)
3.) Run the setup.exe as "administrator"

There is no need to move the installation files anywhere after extraction, I am unsure why that would be listed in the instructions.

Okay so I extracted them all into one folder in desktop, but it seem like each of the five parts are all the same…….anyways now I ran the setup file but where do I install it into? My mods folder? When I tried that the same problem persists.

The correct directory for installation is your "Medieval II Total War\mods" folder. [You may have to change the default target directory if you had "custom" installed Medieval II.]

Also, have you disabled UAC & run the setup.exe as "administrator"?

No, the only installation files you need are included in the 1.44 download.

yeah i did everything I'm suppose to.....I guess I'll just install the torrent, maybe something went wrong while I was installing
