How about a new preview?

Since I am without Kingdoms, I have tried downloading the 0.5 beta version of this mod instead of the newer versions. The instructions, however, are notoriously difficult to follow (unless I'm stupid). I unpack the .zip folder into the M2TW folder, then attempt to play from the .bat file. The instructions have something in them about backing up something from the data file, but it's worded so damned poorly it's impossible for me to get what it means.

Therefore, when I try to play the mod from the .bat file, the game opens, then closes again straight after. Can anyone with experience with the first version of this mod help me out?

We are still working on the mod and doing well on some fronts, but we suffer from a severe lack of modders.

What do you need more of? Modellers and skinners?

I have to say that Briarius, a man who creates this one by only himself http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...t=Fallen+lords is interested the HBO series by my advice. I hope he is enough interested to join the team.

Well I'm a complete noob in modding, but holiday's coming up so I got like 2 months with a lot of spare time. Maybe I'll go read some modding guides and if I can make sense of some of them I could help you a bit. Unless experience is a mustbe

Briarius is an astonishingly good modder, but I imagine all his time is devoted to the Myth project at the moment.

I completely undersign to this post. Let there be some Lannisters roaming aroud in the previews, coz there are a lot of them roaming around on the forums. DOn't get on our dark side or be sure we'll pay our debts sooner or later

Since you like to be up to date.. Today i likely finished a Stark unit, and Hannibal has churned out like... 4? Or 5? Unique Generals of high quality over the last few days. We certainly make some progress.

I've only very recently resumed work on them, having taken a break for a fair few months to finish my degree. Now that is done and dusted I shall be able to commit my spare time to their development.

Currently wrapping up some spearmen, next I'll be working on some longbowmen.

Good to hear things are coming along lads. How many units will be each factions roster? Similar to the Alpha?

Mate ages since I played that old beta but if I remember correctly it isn't modfoldered. I seriously recommend just buying Kingdoms

Heya. I know i was the one to play down all the previews, to my defense, i did it because i expected the mod to be finished by the time the series first season ended, or at least by the time dance with dragons came out.

I was sadly mistaken, and it seems aside from the awesome things you've managed to "steal" from Martin, you also inherited his rather latend manner of working. I'm just kidding, i understand the problems you may be facing with the lack of staff at the most important part of this section... modding.

However, since this is dragging for a seriosly long amount of time, longer than any of us would have expected, I ask, and i think i speak for a lot of this forum's readers/fans that you post another preview in the comming (hopefully immediate) future. Since you've covered 3 factions, one of which has yet to wage actual war in the books, i was hoping for the Lannisters to be picked in your next screen shot show off
