    Default Building Tanks

    I want to build my own tanks as Reikland...

    What building I need to get these weapons?

    They are quit unique and strong units.

    In my campaign I got these tanks thorugh the tank commander but now they are gone (demolished in battles).

    I want them back

    They are only available through scripted events I'm afraid. They can be modded to be recruited though.

    If you have installed

    Warcry! - improved CoW Gameplay & Dwarven Forge mod Combo !.

    this mod then you should be able to recruit tanks if you build artillery factory and university
    but keep in mind that the rate they are available is terrible,like 50 turns for 1 unit,
    so the best is to keep out of harms way the main unit and retrain if and when it get damaged....

    also i think they are becoming available only after you get the event,not before.

    There are only 12 Steam tanks of which 8 are still in use by the Empire. So lore wise there should not be even the 5 you get in the script.

    Oh my godness... just 1 unit per 50 turns?
    Does this mod improve the vanilla mod?

    I think I will download this sub-mod anyway.

    It change the vanilla enough,perhaps making it a little easier to survive as empire against chaos.

    I would like to see someone make the mod harder, because the only faction I have ever had problems with is Nordland. All other Empire factions I have played to turns 100+ and after that there is nothing more to do.

    If you get Steam tanks and have a full stack you can NOT lose to anyone.

    Well lore wise they could make it with only 1 or 2 models and give huge amounts of hp and armor,would that change things?

    There is somewhere in sub mods section my mod that will allow you to build tanks (as well as most of mercenary and special units with empire and others)
