I don't know if anybody's had this problem recently, but i've been getting characters spawned into my campaign map without any names. A quick search revealed that this has been discussed before a couple of years ago, but the thread really didn't answer any questions.
The 'blank name' affects generals, merchants, captains, priests, and princesses--of all factions. I experience CTDs in higher and higher frequencies as the game progresses and more 'nameless' people are on the map, during the AI's turn.
These screenshots are from my just started Aragonese campaign, flat SS 6.4 with savage AI only.
Attempt 1 to rectify issue: Unistalled SS 6.4, deleted SS6.3 folder. Reinstalled 6.4 with previously applied mods in. No dice.
Attempt 2: Same as above, just with no mods applied in the setup screen. Still not working.
Attempt 3. Uninstalled M2TW, Kingdoms, and SS 6.4. Reinstalled in that order. Failure.
Attempt 4, before coming to forums: Uninstalled M2TW, Kingdoms, and SS 6.4, and deleted the contents of the directory--even the hidden files and such that plague Vista and Windows 7 users. Reinstalled, in that order. 
Am I missing something here? The only mods that have touched my SS folder in the past have been Meneth's SMC 6.0 and Goofy's Battle Maps, but the problem persisted after all of that was uninstalled.
