Extract the beta to somewhere that you know. Go to whre you extracted it and cut the data folder to Rome's main directory (C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War).This should overwrite Rome's vanilla files. Make sure that first you have the 1.2 patch installed first though. Also it's suggested that you copy Rome's main directory and paste the data into there. This is so you can still play the original and install other mods if you want to.

RTW 1.2, it was done a long time ago.

No not yet, though a beta release should be soon they say.
