    Default Bronies II: electric boogaloo

Yes because MLP:FiM is that awesome we will start another thread.

Bronies I know you are out there.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

You all ask why anyone could like this show, and I asked the same thing until I actually did go and watch it. It is written by smart people who are well versed in 80s and 90s pop culture. There are so many references in the show that go way over the head of the targeted audience.

some sweet songs that will get stuck in your head for days.

The best part about this show is the brony community, they are frickin hilarious.

Moderation note: Censor bypassing is not allowed. If you have a pic of ponies that you wish to post that contains any censored words, you must either edit them all out before you post the pic or choose another pic. There has been multiple thread warnings posted throughout this thread on this. Now that the OP has been edited we will be enforcing a zero tolorance policy. Thank you.

I am pretty sure its not that kind of crowd. Its mostly a meme based phenomenon

Why do you clutter this forum with these threads? Why not start a community group based around it? Take this disreputable, unfit for public eyes, disgusting subject to one of those clubs, where it belongs.

hypothetical: you're on a deserted island with the ponies from MLP; there's no food, only a spring for water.
which pony do you eat first, and which do you eat last and why?

i'm curious why so many bronies prefer to stay 'in the closet' rather than being a brony and proud and sticking MLP memorabilia on their cars or dressing up as MLP characters in cosplay?

mind you, the parodies were funny as to appear satirical

Why because all of us bronies judged the book by its cover at first like most of you are doing, but once we actually delved into it we realized..."damn this is a pretty good book". There is something so cute and intoxicating by this show that I can not explain. I mean I consider my cartoons and anime to be pretty lame, but this just like powerpuff and fosters home, Lauren faust does an excellent job of creating a cleverly written and well animated show that appeal to all ages.

Not to mention that the show is one big meme factory like nothing the internet has ever seen.

    Awesome, the thread is open!

Anyways, In real life nobody noes I'm a Brony. A couple of my friends know what a Brony is, but they have no idea I am one. And I'm gonna try and keep it that way. Also, I think I'd rather my parents walk in on me watching porn than MLP!

Will Bronies ever 'come out of the closet'? Will they ever demand their minority rights? Will there ever be My Little Pony conventions? Will a man be able to proudly wear a Pony t-shirt in public?

You can only hope, but this situation reminds me of this:

Just remember that this is not a satire of furries. In fact, this sketch was created far before their existence, but it does seem to predict them.

seems ppl'll get ragged on for being into certain things; the amount of ragging star trek/star wars fans get is the stuff of pop culture.

but actual grown men liking MLP; well why don't these same men like barbie as well?

Us Bronies only like this one series, the rest just suck ass. The show is actually good to us, that's why.
