Installation Issue

Hello!

I downloaded the full (cumulative) version of 1.44 from the mirrors provided by the Russian site. All three parts were downloaded well and with no problems, and I subsequently commenced installing the first of the three parts.

A problem, arose, however, when I attempted to install the second part. Once I launched the program (both as administrator and general user), I got the following message, however:

"Program too big to fit in memory"

Now, I may run on a laptop, but I know for sure that a lack of memory (neither hard disc space nor work process memory, whatever one would call that in computer terms) isn't really the problem here.

Any form of help on the issue would be greatly appreciated, as I am greatly looking forward to playing this new version of the fantastic CoW mod!

However, there is only one "setup.exe" file in the entirety of the download. Do you mean you were experiencing an error while extracting the installation files from the three parts?

After extracting the three parts, these are all the files you should have:

I first went to the mod's own download link thread:

Then went on to the full patch 1.44 download (three parts, scroll down a bit):

Was this the wrong procedure of installation?

You had done everything correctly, although you chose the more difficult installation. For an easier installation with included instructions, use the link provided in the previous post.

I understand that the installation for this mod is overly complicated, and if you have any additional question please feel free to ask.
