May have a problem with Steam

All of my steam related games upon trying to play i get a CTD before the game has started, i can't explain how or why.

has anyone got any suggestions or troubleshooting answer that could resolve the problem?

they were working completely fine yesterday nothing has changed/installed since.

I have just worked it out if anyone else has a similar problem un-install direct X 11 and re-install it.

for some reason the computer adjusts to a specific games direct x requirement so trying to play any other that is compatible but has a different set up causes and immediate crash.

all working for me now
