File contains invalid data

I've had a lot of trouble installing this. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. When I first downloaded it, I got this error here, did what that thread said, and then it said that the download didn't complete properly. So I redownloaded it, and now I have a new error.

I disable my antivirus, run as admin, and then it seems like it's not responding for a couple of seconds. After 1-2 minutes of nothing, the User Account Control pops up, and I hit allow, whereupon I immediately get this error: "This file contains invalid data".

I googled it (and searched this forum), but the only similar problem I've seen was mid-install, not before the file successfully opened.

EDIT: Turned of UAC, same thing, just without the UAC prompt.

EDIT: I'm redownloading the torrent version, we'll see if there's any change.

So... I got the download done properly, but now I get this error after running the installer:

Third Age - Total War 2.0 (Part1of2) has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

mods\Third_Age\data\sounds\Music.dat: This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)

You will have to run this utility again to completely install Third Age - Total War 2.0 (Part1of2).

Ran it again, to no avail. Does this mean the download didn't work yet again? This is the 4th time I've downloaded these files...

EDIT: Redownloaded Part 1, successful install! Waiting for part 2 to redownload.

Excellent, let me know if the rest of TA successfully installs. (Did you use the Megaupload links?)
