And a thanks to you for doing this. RS2 and EB with the combined evironments are the best mods ever. Now all I want is for Hegemonia to came out - and combine the same environments .

Firstly that is Hannibal Smith's add-on for EB and secondly the OP should be something like this "what do you think of this add-on shall we use it?" so that it will not be misinterpreted as another persons work.
Ok i have thouroughly tested it with RS2 environments and i can safely say that it is bug free i would advise though when playing big battles (as consul or whatever) to wait for the victory music to finish before clicking continue, and also to save before starting a battle, just to be on the safe side
Personally I like the idea of being lost in the forest and assailed on all sides by barbarians
Gives me a nice excuse to get demolished and whilst I like the RS2 work I'm gonna go with no, if only just to be that guy. Because nobody wants to be THAT guy.

Hmm, I played with it a little bit and I'm changing my vote to no but I will give my reasons.
I. EB is best played on huge settings and these environs tax my graphics card a full 20fps(Same as the RS2 standard without units on the field).
II. RS2 environs can be taxing on older cards(Something many of you bastards are guilty of) so it may not be possible for them to play on the aforementioned settings for soldiers.
III. I Actually like the EB environs better. The RS2 textures don't fit the palette of the soldiers very well.
IV. So we can just start this damned thing tomorrow instead of Monday.
V. So I know which mod I'm playing at a glance. Spent 6 months of YATS watching RS2 environments, I need a change.

Meh...dont worry about the environments then just play this thing!! save us any hidden bugs anyways
My only real problem with it was that when taking screenshots for AAR's (which we will have to do) the trees ALWAYS get in the way. We dont have to use the RS2 enviros, but i still really hate those trees
For those who have followed the decision to use EB (which should in theory be anyone aiming to play YATS) they will have seen in this thread here, so there should not be a chance of misinterpretation. However, I can see your concern that the op has simply copy pasted the owners piece and thus included his pronouns To people who simply pass through I can see what the problem would be, I'll seperate it and give credit to the creator.
Thank you for voicing your concern If you're interested in joining YATS feel free to pm me.

If you have a new graphics card, some of us don't and it causes enough problems with load time and stability EB vanilla, then there's some (like myself) who consider RS II environments ugly and not worth the FPS hit.
The environments aren't save game compatible,so at the same we're being shut out of the game because of the personal tastes of a few others, which to me doesn't seem fair.

Your the first Ive heard to call them ugly, but otherwise I agree, especially since I'll be using it mainly for YATS
If it was the RS1.6 textures for the map they would be fine, I've used those before but it's a little late but the environs directly affect gameplay, i.e. forest locations etc...
I guess we'll be playing this according to the author's original intent then.
