ESF editor crashing
Esf editor always crashes when i edit anything in the startpos.esf or any other files and it also doesn't change anything after I edit the game and test it on my campaign. i have network frame 4
edit: I changed from version 1.4.5 instead of 1.4.8 and i can save and edit perfectly but nothing happens after i follow hussers tutorials to edit United States as a playable faction in warpath campaign nothing happens and when i change the money the game crashes before i can start. Thx for help

1.4.8 editor is buggy so use always 1.4.3 or 1.4.5. Modding Warpath campaign needs some extra changes. First you have to make a hybrid startpos using a grand campaign startpos and a warpath one. Warpath will take the place of save game in my tutorial. Then you should place the hybrid in main folder. Now you can proceed with your modifications. You have always to have startpos in main and play a grand campaign (it will be actually the modded warpath).Originally Posted by Zephera

I installed and launched the ETF2 shortcut on my desktop and i showed me a empire total war screen with a ship but its stuck loading forever...
Am i just supposed to wait for it? There are no crashes or anything just a frozen screen
I've been trying to unlock factions in warpath forever... any help is appreciated
edit: I tried launching from original exe and it works but the there is fog of war and can't select my own units...Plz help

why is this thread headed as a tool? why not merging it with the original tool, it gives bad image of the tool.
