    Default System hangs

I'm not sure if this is really hanging, but sometimes Windows 2000 will freeze and when I try to click there will be a loud beep. I have to restart the PC, I thought it would stop when I bought a new motherboard, graphics card and CPU but it happened only a few moments ago.

Windows XP does that to me sometimes after I did a CPU intensive task, the computer froze and I heat a beep, but after 1-2 seconds it just went back to normal.

Is there any hope of finding a way to fix it?

What kind of power supply do you have?
The PSU is the only thing I can think of since you switched most of your hardware.

The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved.

400W, last time I checked there's no specific brand in there, like Thermaltake.

Have you checked your hard drive and cables (internal)?
