This is a remake of an old movie that's based on a book that is supposedly non-fiction. I think that the book it was based on the, The Feathermen, was later debunked but I don't remember for sure.

A retired SAS man, Britains Elite Special Air Service is forced out of retirement when old comrades start being murdered.

My first impression - Statham got fatter.

I HATE YOU

Well I went and saw this. It was a good movie. It's certainly not your typical Statham movie ala Transporter or Crank or something. It's a serious movie with an excellent tone. In fact, it was nothing like I thought it was going to be and the trailer is completely misleading. Anyways, good story, cool characters, some good action that wasn't over the top and well worth the watch. Go check it out it's more of a spy-thriller-action film than just your run of the mill action thing.

So did Statham... gain more weight again?

No! Get outta heeeeere!
