If you want 2 SS's on the same computer, just rename the SS folder file something else, like SS test, or SS 2 and run the installer agaain. It should make extra copies as long as the pathname is different. That way you can have mutiple copies on you computer. Just change the name of the one you want to play to 6.3 and leave the other copies with different names. I have 4 copies.![]()

Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
It is usually easiest to name them for their function- IE, I have C:/SS/6.3 and also C:/SS/6.4 and then D:/MTW2/BC and D:/MTW2/CoW
EDIT: forget it, I realise what I did wrong now. thanks for the help!
Wait, so this is what I did
I renamed my original SS6.3 installation to "SS6.3a" instead.
Then I reinstalled SS6.3 to a new folder (the default SS6.3 folder was created) and installed 6.4 to that folder
But now when I launch 6.4 I get a CTD. (6.3 still works fine)
Have I missed anything obvious (before I uninstall and reinstall everything again?)
The awesomeness that is UACHave fun
