    Default DirectX 9c emergency!!

    Hello, this is my first post in the basement, anyway can some one help me get my DirectX 9b updated to 9c, becuase when i try installing it in less than a second the installation finishes and a massage pops up and tells me that the stuff i installed are ready for use, but when i click on a game that needs directX9c (sch as imperial glory and AOEIII) it asks me to install directX9c, same with 3dsmax7 i need directX9c!!!

    Please guys i need help!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT !!

    Any help will be thanked alot!!!

    Use DirectX uninstaller to uninstall directX (duh), then just install DX 9.0c.

    Thanks man!! Ill see if it'll work..this hunted me at the SCC for a long time!

    EDIT: Can this program work for windowsXP. All i get after installing it is a folder with a directX diagnosics (spelled it wrong) file and a setup info file.

    Anyways i heard it can only insall directx8 not 9.
