    Default Bosporan Campaign Notes

Couple of things thus far, and ive only been able to get to end turn winter 538. The biggie is when trying to fight a battle (besiged the city east of Pantikapaion), this error comes up
    failed to find texture
    data/models_unit/texture/horse_general_macedon.tga
If someone wants to check that and make sure its not just my copy thatd be great

    also a few other things

    Traits:
    1) on all FMs, these traits show up that shouldnt (i assume):
-battle_counter9 (the number varies per character, but they all show some variation of it)
    -character_ages
    -sparta_levy
    -character can negotiate

*Parisedes III also has trait "can get this"

those are the big ones thus far that ive seen, so far nothing wrong with unit cards on strat map, but i havnt been able to check in battle

Edit: Im using BI.exe, Steam, M/M

Also, is it possible for someone to implement these banners into the campaign? (from the "swap factions" thread)

Do an SVN update, and hopefully the issues will be fixed.

BTW, all of the hidden traits are showing now, so ignore stuff like 'can_get_this', Battle_Counter, etc.

Doing it now...so other than those then, theres nothing wrong as of yet. Is the Spartan general model just going to be used for all of the swap factions?

I hope not....we should use one of the greek generals....maybe see whether Leif would be happy to do a couple more skins?

oh jeez if we could have general varients looking similar to macedon or ptolemies that be outstanding...those guys are shmexy

Currently its the free greek generals bodyguard, maybe for Bosporus use a Scythian bodyguard?

EDIT: Ok the texture problems been fixed, im gonna go ahead and continue this campaign through and see how it goes. The location already is making me wonder how to expand...def not a faction to play if you hate fighting HAs and sarmatians

very nice with the banners btw (and my soon-to-be favorite unit)

Im curious to see how Macedon does with a nearly unified southern greece. It should be good, hopefully either Macedonian hegemony or Achaian freedom

The Bosporans recruit the Greek General, not the Spartan General. All swap factions will use the Greek General (Greek one's, that is.)

That Spartan banner in the background shouldn't be there either??

No it shouldnt i was wondering about that. At first i thought it was because the stratmap banners werent changed, but then the bosporan flag was in battle but not on the stratmap or battlemap

What about the color of the faction on the campaign and battle maps? Maybe change it to that pale blue, or whatever it's called ... The same with other swap factions - which use the Spartan color.

Itd have to be a pefect blue though lol. Playing the campaign right now its purely different from others. sailing across the black sea. So itd have to be a shade that doesnt blend too much with the water. Maybe a bluish-lavender?

I looked at the blues and tbh theres way too many factions that would look the same or close to it..Boii, Pontus namely

    Opinions?

I like it. Though maybe a bit darker? It's similar to Parthia atm IMO.

i may go a shade darker, but not too dark. Parthias a lot lighter but i think that might be because of region borders for Bosphorus. Although we wont really know how it looks until we get the Bosphoran flag to replace the spartan one

Is the right banner still not showing up? Are they showing up right for other swap factions...all the banners? (Syracuse, Bosporan and Capua have the right banners)

Capua, yes. Bosporus, i need to start a new campaign to check i believe, will do shortly since i need to restart it. Also, someone else might wanna look into it but the 4 cities on the Cimmerian Bosphorus *seem* to have some pretty insane growth.

I'm working on the banner issues...there seems to be an issue with the names of the banners and where they are, so I have to do some changing to get them to work right.

Ok, first decade financial report. So far no issues with traits, hopefully itll stay that way. Skythuke Neapolis has expanded twice so far, im currently building councilors chamber building to upgrade to large city. So far those have been the two biggest obstacles...military upkeep and keeping up with the population growth and associated unrest

On the subject of the faction colour, wasn't it like the faction symbol before?
