A recurring CTD

I have SS6.4 + SMC installed, and the game is far from stable but I have learned to live with an odd CTD every few hours, but this one I can't get around. At the end of 23rd turn I press continue and the game CTDs every time during Fatimids turn, 5 times so far. Any ideas? What can I provide as an assistance to solving the issue. It's been a short campaibn, but I have really gotten into it...

Please help!

I am experiencing a similar problem on turn 25, with SS 6.4 and Meneth's SMC installed. Crash on turn 25 during the Sicilians' turn. I experienced some seemingly random CTDs as well earlier in the capmaign during the Fatimids' and the Venetians' turns, but those were solved with the character move command.

Also notable is that I am getting some characters without names--my faction heir being one, and various AI diplomats and merchants as well.

Okay. I think I've tried all the fix-its and still get CTD at the opening screen. The soldier pops up with 6.4 under him and then crash, back to desktop. I've turned off the UAC, reinstalled 6.3 in a folder other than program files and made sure to install 6.4 on top of it. Nothing seems to work. 6.3 works fine by itself, I'm not sure what road I should take from here. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

i to encounter that problem beacuse i delet the 3 icon from the destop(i have Win7) so the single thing what i do is DELET EVERYTHING THAT IS SS and then reinstall it

Now i play it without any problem or CTD.

I tried removing everything associated MTW 2 from my computer. SS 6.0 part 2 will not uninstall. In my control panel it says 1 of 2, but when I click uninstall it says it's uninstalling 2 of 2. It's actually pretty weird. Never-the-less, I cannot get it off my computer. WTF!

Now I got rid over everything but it won't let me reinstall Britannia. Did I lose it?

Well fellas. I won't be playing Britannia campaign anymore. Not that I really wanted to lol. I got 6.3 to work again, however, .4 crashes as I stated earlier. I guess it's not a huge deal. So long as RLC works on 6.3 I'm cool.
