Roman Army question

Hey there

I really enjoy this mod, but I have some questions with regards to recruitment of barbarians. I'm playing as the Romans in the 361 campaign, and I have conquered some cities from the Quedi and the Goths. From there I can recruit various barbarian units, but I can't recruit the same in every city. Does this has to do with the city's development level before I conquered it, under the previous faction, or is it predetermined for every province.

Also I could use some tips to beat the sassanids.

The Sassanids? Use heaps and heaps of troops...that's what I try. I still get my butt spanked however

I beleive with troop recruiting, each region has its own particular units available and certain buildings that can be built in that region. I can't remember what it was in but there is a stickied thread here that explains what troops each region produces.

Try the palatina units from Antioch and assist them with cimbrinari. That should help.
