Some people have the grace to leave without causing a huge disruption and lots of e-Emotion.

True, but still the bond of community on TWC does somehow exist doesn't it? I mean don't you actually think about TWC sometimes when out in the real world?

Isn't it the people that matter more than the temple?

I am trying to see what civitates think about these issues... This is an inward looking question

Where did Ornlu go? To bad he left.
The common culture of a tribe is a sign of its inner cohesion. But tribes are vanishing from the modern world, as are all forms of traditional society. Customs, practices, festivals, rituals and beliefs have acquired a flut and half-hearted quality which reflects our nomadic and rootless existence, predicated as we are on the global air-waves.

    Garb of course.

Driddle and Hormiga, who I really got to know and like from my time in RTR. Hormiga went in the army I think, so perhaps he will come back some day.

Boris, I only caught the tail of his time here, and know him better from elsewhere, but he is everything a invision in a civitate, he is the founder of the curia, and someone I am sadden that he is not here.

Add Jacobus and GENERAL_MAXIMUS .. Damn where did those two guys go

I miss Garb the most, and Boris's "How about no" attitude.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

It is sad that Garb left, while he couldn't suffer me for political reasons, most of the times he posted interesting things and had ideas to improve the fun of those to perused the boards.

I'll join the general lament for dear old Garb, and also mention the mighty Smack as another contemporary of mine who made the forum seem special and interesting. It's weird how you can meet people online and miss them when they're gone...
